Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I have my studio photography session?

Pick a place and we will meet you there, or check out a list of locations we love. We love visiting new places, but also have a great deal of suggestions, simply let us know a little about your style and we will provide you with our recommendation.

When should I schedule my studio photography session?

Your senior photography session needs to be scheduled as soon as possible. We always recommend contacting us to ensure that you are able to secure one of the better time frames available. Since their are three of us that handle all of the portrait work, our products are consistently high-quality, but sometimes hard to schedule. Whether you are looking to have your senior photography session next week or next month, it is always best to let us know so we can make sure to provide you with a fantastic time and date.

About how many photographs will my studio photography session include?

We get asked this question all the time and it primarily depends on a few factors which I have listed below;

  1. Which package are you choosing?
    • In general, the bigger the package, the more photos you will receive. This is due to the fact that, we have the option of adding a second photographer with their own unique perspective and talents, as well as additional time. With the additional options available, we work together to achieve a higher quantity and quality of images.
  2. How many outfit changes do you have?
    • It should also be added, how quickly can you change? We typically recommend beginning the session in the outfit it takes the longest to get ready in, whether this be a suit, uniform, or other, by only having casual-wear to change in to, this maximizes the amount of time we get to spend taking your senior pictures.
  3. How many locations would you like?
    • We can often utilize multiple locations and not take up too much time. We do this by being strategic in our approach to capture your senior photography session in multiple places. This may mean that we begin your session downtown and then move to centennial park, (only a few miles away), or even begin at Woodward and move into the Tulsa Garden Center, (where we also hold an annual membership). If you are interested in having multiple locations, we recommend letting us know and we can help it happen.

We always recommend visiting our senior photography galleries to gain a general idea as to the number of images you will receive from your senior photography session. If you have any further questions regarding the number of images or anything else, please contact us, and we would love to help.

Do I get to choose my studio photographer?

We would love to provide you with the photographer of your choice for your senior photography session. Another option we also do quite a bit is ask you to select your favorite galleries. Since we each have our own unique style that we bring to your senior photography session, we can often pinpoint the photographer that best reflects your preferred style of imagery.

How will I receive the images from my studio photography session?

We will upload the images from your maternity session to a online gallery specialized for your viewing. This also works great if you are looking to “share” the album on social media or via email. It saves you the hassle of uploading the images online one-by-one. We also have options to have your images placed on a thumb drive, DVD, or even downloaded digitally.

What should I wear to my studio photography session?

We typically suggest that seniors have at least two outfits during their senior photography session- It often works best to have at least one casual and one formal outfit. This will also give us more variation in pose selection.

Can I have an outfit change during my studio photography session?

Absolutely! Every package includes as many outfit changes as we can fit into your time.

Should I bring props to my studio photography session?

Sure! We tell our seniors that they can bring as many props as they would like. Some common props are instruments, letterman jackets, senior rings, even dogs (though some venues require special permission, please email us for more information).

When is payment due for my studio photography session?

Payment for your senior session is due before the start of the session. We will go over the senior photography agreement prior to getting started, which is where we can accept payment. We accept cash, debit/credit, or checks payable to Tabor Warren Photography. We can even send you an invoice, allowing you to pay securely online if you prefer.
